Inflatable Paddleboard Packages

In my opinion, an inflatable paddleboard bundle is the way to go, also known as a package or set. Most manufacturers will provide everything you need to get going and on the water straight out of the box. But having seen the offering from multiple manufacturers over the years, what each company considers to be a package can vary wildly.

It’s time to step back and take stock of what you’re actually getting with your inflatable paddleboard – because it’s more than just a board! The truth is that you’re going to need a certain variety of accessories and additions which you can grow over time and, particularly if you’re buying your first inflatable paddleboard then a good package is a wise investment.

But also be wary of buying packages with items you won’t use. Think carefully about what you’re going to use your inflatable paddleboard for, what kind of conditions you’re going to take it out on and how you’re going to treat it. We’ve put together our top 3 picks when buying inflatable paddleboard packages

1

Tower Paddle Boards Adventurer ISUP (9’10”)

PACKAGE INCLUDES

  • Inflatable Paddleboard (9’10”)
  • Pump
  • 3-Piece Adjustable Fibreglass Paddle
  • 2 Year Warranty

PROS

  • Price: Top Quality Equipment: If you’re looking for the best equipment on the market then Tower should certainly be considered. Their kit is as durable as you’ll find from the fibreglass paddle to the military-grade PVC board

CONS

  • You Could Get More for the Price: But then quantity is not always better than quality
2

Tower Paddle Boards Adventurer ISUP 2 (10’4”)

PACKAGE INCLUDES

  • Inflatable Paddleboard (10’4”)
  • Pump
  • 3-Piece Adjustable Fibreglass Paddle
  • 2 Year Warranty

PROS

  • The Highest Quality: Yes, another Tower boards package, but as mentioned above this is really high quality paddleboard kit

CONS

  • Price: Expect to pay that little bit more for the Adventurer 2, purely because the quality of the board is high and you get a bit more board for your money than the alternative Adventurer option from Tower
  • No Carry Bag/Backpack: Some people would consider a complete package to come with a carry bag. The Adventurer 2 doesn’t and will need to be bought separately if you require a bag. The Adventurer 2 does however come with a carry strap
3

Z-Ray PathFinder ISUP (9'9")

PACKAGE INCLUDES

  • Inflatable Paddleboard (9'9")
  • Adjustable Aluminium Paddle
  • Centre Fin (Detachable)
  • Valve Wrench
  • Carry Bag (with shoulder straps)

PROS

  • Comes with a Bag: The Pathfinder notably comes with a carry bag where other similar options do not
  • Well Priced: Particularly for the entry level or first time ISUP buyer, you get a lot in the package for not a lot of money

CONS

  • Not Top of the Line: While the Pathfinder is without a doubt a well made ISUP, there are notably better options on the market but expect to pay much more
  • Aluminium Paddle: A small pickup but the aluminium paddle that comes with the Pathfinder package could be better. The Tower boards fibreglass is a good example
  • No Warranty: The Pathfinder comes without a warranty compared with other manufacturers that generally offer at least a one year option
